A “School” of Amazing Donors: Honoring Supporters at the MK Nature Center

In 2018, a unique fundraising initiative brought the community together to support the installation of entrance and interpretive signs across the MK Nature Center property. Through the sale of engraved fish—offered at various price levels—generous donors helped fund this project, leaving behind a lasting legacy.

Each fish, engraved with names of donors, loved ones, family members, and local businesses, now hangs proudly on the Friends Wall. While we can no longer add new fish to the wall, the names etched here continue to symbolize the generosity that makes the MK Nature Center a special place.

We remain deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our donors, who will continue to be recognized in ways that honor Idaho Fish and Game policies.
